Goods
Came a bit earlier today for the goods and while me and my friend were queuing we could hear the rehearsals for the day's concert. We could make out Synchrogazer and got so excited about it being the duet song today.... and then we got even more excited because it sounded like it was going to be with a lady! So we started wondering who could it be! xD Met up with a bunch of other Nana fans as well, one of which I knew before hand. Last time we met up was for LIVE FLIGHT so it had been a while!
Inside Nippon Budoukan
Today's seats were on the second floor stand and very close to the left side of the stage. I was excited to be that close but turns out it was kinda bad in terms of audio.... everything was blasting in my left ear to the point of it hurting and the sound balance was off since nothing was coming in the direction of my right ear... (T^T) Oh well... I still enjoyed the concert though!

Welcome to LIVE GATE! Nana says how this live is her new challenge in Budokan! She also once again mentions how this time the concert has an American theme, which is pretty different from the Japanesey LIVE ZIPANGU. She goes through all the usual bike talk again. Nana really proudly shows off the sets of 7 stars on the bike.

Business as usual. But then! Yutapon played Ai no Hoshi on piano, but at first no sound came out because it was turned off. Oops.... xD Obacchi put on some oriental headgear and played around with a theremin. Kenny still not playing the violin for real.... he's running out of days to impress Nana!

Mawatte! Nana does the Mou ikkai with Yutapon. They talk about the volume mishap with the piano for a bit and Nana complimented his playing and mentions how she knows that it's hard, because she ganbatta with the piano for Beautiful too. Yutapon tells us that he used to play the piano before drums and basically quit right at the moment he found out how fun it is to play drums. Nana then bugs Kenny about him not actually playing the violin. She mentions how this kind of instrument swap "Change Boys" happened before in LIVE MUSEUM. Nana talks about the connection to Darker than BLACK again too. And how her character in the insert movies was inspired by Kirihara Misaki and how DtB even had a prominent gate too! She says that next song is maybe the closest to a ballad that we'll get in this live.

Wow, this was a surprise tonight as it hadn't been on this slot for any of the past days that I've attended! Can't say about the one day I missed. It provided a nice change of pace and injected more excitement and wonder into me, since I guess the songs had started to become a bit of a routine after attending so many GATEs already.

I had fun watching my friend reaction to the GLORIA dance and the outfit, since this was her first LIVE GATE. xD She looked just as confused as I had been on the first day, but I have to admit that it has kinda grown on me now after seeing it so many times.

Nana talks about how she is so bad at dancing and how that prompted her to go to ballet lessons. She started last year. She tells a lot of stories about it, one of which was how she doesn't wear a bra for it I think. Lots of zoom ins to her chest from the big screens. Nana says camera man is a perv, since also in the beginning he just showed her crotch instead of the bike. She might have mentioned that Misato also started ballet? Not sure. Once again we get a "No no no no! Nonono!" - Nana is always so funny when switching to random English. xD Switched the topic to MUSEUM III. Who has already bought it? Next song is from there!

14. Synchrogazer feat. Aoi Shouta
Whoa! I have to admit that I had no idea about who Aoi Shouta was until seeing him here, so I didn't expect a guy who can sing much higher than even most women. Seriously wow! Still can't believe he could match the high notes with Nana, especially since Synchrogazer really isn't easy in that department.

Nana talks about when she and Shouta met and then about Symphogear, since they were both in the latest season. Shouta looks up to Nana very much and even calls her Mizuki-san. He does a couple of voice switches to sounding like a young girl, which is like wow. He also shows off how he made his nails just for today with G & T for (GaTe I think, can't remember 100%) and is wearing blue for Nana.

Time for the last song! Nana mentions agains how this Budoukan 7 Days has been quite the challenge. And of course the last song had to be this one because of the theme of the live.

Today's calls were about how do people live. Do people live alone? With their parents? Or with a loved one? Yappari, most people lived alone... It was crazy how quiet it was for the "with a loved one" option. orz

Shassu! Like pretty much every night, Nana thanks everyone for listening to her baka radio show for 16 years. She says that she just heard from Mishi-P that this day's concert will be broadcast on TV in March, Banzai banzai banzai! She asks if we are ready and does calls in terms of age, 10s, 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s (looks at CheriBos here) and how it doesn't matter what generation we are. She then says she sang this song in Budokan after it came out and it was the first song she composed herself. Now she will sing it here again!
