[Live Viewing]「幕張イベントホール座長公演 “水樹奈々大いに唄う 伍”」

Back again with another live viewing report! I remember for the previous Zachou Kouen I was swimming in tickets due to a very weird lottery system, so I got to take a bunch of non-fan friends with me who loved it.... but this time if you actually wanted to go, you could only apply for one ticket. orz So we opted to go for the live viewing from the get go so a friend who was visiting Japan for the first time could get to experience some Nana insanity lol.

So, without further ado let the event begin!!!
The lights go out and then....

01. Hungry Hungry
Uh, not what I was expecting considering the very Japanese style feel of Zachou Kouen. o.o Can't say this song has grown on me at all since the first time I heard it at LIVE ISLAND and the dance just looked even more amusing when seen in the close ups provided by the live viewing.

02. HOT BLOOD
Now this is more like it! Now I am getting in the correct Zachou Kouen mood lol.

03. Hatsu Koi
Hells yeah, been too long since ZIPANGU! I really love this song.... (T^T) It can't really reach it's full potential in an event like this though, where you don't get the full-power of CheriBo backing her up.

After the song, Nana asks if any of us saw the news regarding the summer single that popped up the day before? Once again she got the pleasure of singing the ED theme for Monster Strike and the title of that song was one of the things revealed yesterday. As a gift, she will now sing it for us! She explains that there is a part that she wants everyone to sing together with her and once the time comes she will wave from left to right like so *demonstrates*.

04. Born Free
I kinda have a bias towards all songs written by Yoshida Takumi so I had a feeling I would like this one before Nana even began and it ended up being true. It had a nice feel to it, a bit different from the usual, though I can't say I have much recollection of it anymore. Can't wait to hear it again and practice the sing-along part!

-Mishi-P Talk-
Can't say I really remember anything of what he talked about since his purpose is just to buy time for Nana and everyone to get ready, but he did provide us with a treat, which was:

05. Footage of NEW SENSATION from evening performance of Nana's Music Laboratory
Got very lucky with this being something I hadn't seen in my Nana Labo live viewing since that was for the day performance and this was from the night. I swear, any additional goodness I can get from Nana Labo I will devour greedily in a heartbeat - it's all just too good. >< And this def was no exception. <3

And then...

This time, the story revolved around the Sanada Ten Braves and the Siege of Osaka  (大坂の陣 ). The story unfolded in a series of vignettes you could say, as it wasn't all connected in one linear flow, but basically just showing the interesting moments from here and there.

<Winter Campaign>
First we get a general rundown of the first major campaign of the Siege of Osaka.

<Summer Campaign>
Then it's time for business!  It's time to start introducing all the players in the summer team....

<Jinpachi vs. Monks>
We see a lone ronin, Jinpachi, confront two monks on the road. After some witty back and forth, things naturally evolve into a battle.

<Intro of Ieyasu>
Matsumoto-san pulls out the Nana spices package from his sleeve after talking about his favorite foods and says it is Seven flavors.... so in other words Nana's flavor. Whoops. In pretty much every Zachou Kouen he can, he pulls this kind of stuff... xD

<Intro of the Braves, 3 of them missing>
Nana is introduced as Sasuke. She says to believe that the missing three braves are still alive. Sugita-san tries to hijack the singing part from her, but Misato-san gets the mic from him and gives it to Nana.

Fittingly on topic, Nana sings a song about asking someone to come home. Maaaan, I will never ever get enough of listening to Nana sing Enka.

<Intro of Mizuchi>
Mizuchi, in other words Inoue-san, makes her entrance. Ieyasu doesn't help it go the way she intended so she demands to do her entrance all over again so she can get in her "always 17" & "oi oi" calls. She reveals her warrior, Orochihime. Ieyasu is not convinced so she shows her resume, which includes playing bass in a band. Obviously very relevant. xD

<Braves are on the move and meet Musashi>
The Braves bump into Musashi on the road and he asks who they are. Igari says they are looking for her lost older brother and makes a Lelouch joke and sobs on the phone in Nunnally's voice. Musashi pretends to fall for it buuuuut finds out the truth anyway.

Nana goes around in a little cart for her second Enka song of the night. Man, these more ballad'y songs really make me feel melancholic... which is, I guess, the point. It felt kinda weird having this though in the midst of such a humorous story. xD

<Let the battling begin>
Sugita busts out all the jokes, first in regards to Jojo, saying how he wished he had a stand also, but his character can only do the hamon thing. Then switching gears to Persona and prompting Nana to summon her Persona with him.

In the midst of the battle, it turns out the 3 missing Braves have switched sides... Nana doesn't hold grudges though and takes them on by herself while the rest  of her crew escape.

When the Braves encounter Goemon, cue the Persona jokes again with Sugita exclaiming that isn't he his Persona (in Persona 5 his character's Persona is Goemon xD).

Kosuke and Juzou are caught and Mizuchi offers Nana's Sasuke a deal - she joins them and they'll let the two go. Nana agrees and climbs into a box where Ieyasu instantly has her impaled...

... Except suddenly we hear laughter from all around and when the box is opened there is only a Nanette plushie inside. xD Nana doppelgangers in uncannily real Nana masks start showing up here and there until the actual Nana pops up in the middle.

As a last resort Ieyasu's gang summons forth the spirit of Nobunaga (the artifact that was necessary for the ritual was provided by Goemon). Orochihime takes a blow instead of Nana, making Nana mad and she summons some crazy powers to laser the demon to death... as one does lol.

The Braves get their break in the end by focusing on using their Ninjutsu to bring smiles instead of war. All's well! \o/

Thanks to the similar name this took me back to the time Nana sang Omatsuri Mambo, which is still maybe my favorite Enka song ever. This one was pretty fun too though! It's a rarer treat to have her sing a male Enka singer's song anyway so this was quite a treat for that reason too. :3

<Thank Yous>
At the end everyone gathers in the middle for thank yous! Hikasa-san is really happy to have attended her first Zachou Kouen and makes a joke about giving her first time to Nana and wanting to give all of them to her actually and Nana's like bring it and they hug. xD Inoue-san is also very touched to finally get to be a part of Zachou Kouen, to the point of tears. Lastly, they all portray their thanks by fully portruding themselves on the floor. xD
