Beautiful: The Carole King Musical

I thought for a long while about how I should write about this and in the end decided that I will just focus on my thoughts and observations without delving into the details of the actual story of the musical. This is mainly because  the plot is readily available in the musical's [wikipedia] and I dunno,  I'd like to believe we will be getting a BD/DVD release of it eventually (maybe with MUSEUM III?) and you can then see it for yourself.

Thoughts on「 恋想花火」

I have the LIVE GALAXY reports under works, but I have been once again delayed by various things like getting a new laptop (old one pretty much died and the migration process was... painful to say the least orz) and then I have some done excessive country hopping (3 different countries this week, wohoo). But they are coming up slowly, but surely!

I wanted to take a little break from those, however, to talk a little about 恋想花火, which is the third song in the upcoming single STARTING NOW. I've found myself truly captivated by it recently after hearing it on M no Sekai.

『SUPER☆MAN』PV, Zachou Kouen and some other stuff

So about a week ago, Super Nana Man made her landing on earth and it's taken me a while to absorb it in its entirety. I was expecting something like this, since Nana had said it was like the second coming of DISCOTHEQUE, but I still got overwhelmed. xD But anyway, let's talk a bit about the SUPER☆MAN PV and also, some other things!

Thoughts on 笑顔の行方 and Fun Fun★People

Now that I got both WINTER FESTA reports out of the way, I thought I'd still write about something before I have to disappear for an unknown period of time again because of school. Thus, I will ramble on a little about the two songs we've got to hear recently~ I'll start the entry off with a picture from the Dreams Come True 25th Anniversary Best Covers album.

Well, ROCKBOUND NEIGHBORS entry needs to wait a bit longer, since New Year is here before I knew it (or then I just took forever with my assignments orz)..

Anyway, the year 2012. 

A year of mixed feelings. 

I think I've already reflected back on it in various entries and wherever else, but I'll do a little bit more of it here. 

Get my drift? -Thoughts and Translation-

I have been eagerly waiting to hear Get my drift? ever since Nana released the name, since I found it very interesting. I have to say that when I did finally hear it last night on smile-gang - I was not disappointed! In fact I fell deeply in love with it, which really isn't a surprise. Nana once again invades a new genre of music (girls' rock I'd say) with this song and makes it her own. I definitely place this song in the "what is this? I love it" -category along with HIGH-STEPPER and PARTY! PARTY!.
